Miniature ball screws are efficient linear components in small format and therefore ideal for small applications where precise movement of small loads is essential. They offer special advantages in laboratory, semiconductor and medical applications, e.g. medical diagnostics, test and measurement stations, as well as in engraving and printing processes, but also for a range of applications that include pumping liquids or pick-and-place applications.

SINCE 1964, KSS has been successful as a specialist for highly precise ball screws and lead screw products. In 2001, KSS developed the world's smallest sub-miniature linear ball screw, with a shaft diameter of only 1.8 millimeter.
